What are GLP-1 medications and how do they differ?

These terms all refer to the same family of weight loss medications, just at different levels of specificity.

‍GLP-1 is the drug class — a group of medications that work by mimicking a hormone that regulates appetite. All the drugs below are GLP-1s (or variants of them).
