Wegovy Pill

Meet the Wegovy Pill
- A once-daily oral GLP-1 medication for weight management
- Helps reduce hunger and slows how quickly food moves through the stomach
- Helps regulate appetite and blood sugar
- Promotes long-term weight loss with lifestyle changes and continued treatment2
How does this compare to injections?
- The Wegovy pill contains semaglutide, the same active ingredient as injectable Wegovy
- Semaglutide mimics a naturally-occurring hormone in the body (GLP-1) released after eating to signal fullness
- Formulated specifically for oral absorption to achieve the same effect as the injection
- Starts at 1.5 mg, gradually increasing to 25 mg over 3 months to give your body time to adjust
How to take
- Take once daily in the morning on an empty stomach
- Swallow it whole with a sip of plain water only (up to 120ml)
- Do not crush, chew, or split the pill
- Wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking, or taking other medications

Some patients may experience: Nausea, reduced appetite, constipation or diarrhoea, vomiting, bloating or stomach discomfort and fatigue. Side effects typically improve as your body adjusts and doses are increased gradually.
