When her daughter became sick as a baby, Sarah spent her time in and out of hospital. Thanks to vending machine snacks and the emotional stress of a sick child, before she knew it she was seven and a half stone overweight.
Over the last 20-odd years, Sarah “tried every weight loss method known to man”. But no matter how successful, they would end with her slowly regaining the weight, yo-yoing in diets and exercise for 20-odd years.
Since retiring in March 2023, she decided it was high time to prioritise herself: for her health, her confidence, and her family.
Now, Sarah isn’t preoccupied with food: she can cook and enjoy meals without the guilt and shame she once had, and the clarity has helped her identify her eating behaviours and reset her lifestyle choices.
